2026 Red Hill Variety Show

 

DATE of Show: Thursday, March 26th

 

IMPORTANT: Please review the Variety Show Rules and Guidelines before signing up your children. With more than 40 acts in previous years, we all must work together and understand the expectations to make this show a success!

 

Please complete the following steps to participate in Red Hill's 2026 Variety Show:

 

STEP 1: Reserve your song choice!
Request the song your child/act would like to use.  Please send the name, artist and lyrics of the song to varietyshow@redhillpta.org.  This is a first come first serve reservation and will only be going by emails sent.  

 

STEP 2: PARENT LEADER SIGN UP ONLINE FOR AN AUDITION TIME. (coming soon)
Only one audition time is needed per group. Please have the group leader sign up for the group.

 

PARENTS AND STUDENTS MUST READ THE RULES AND GUIDELINES.
Each participant and their parent must carefully review the Variety Show Rules and Guidelines before signing the Participant Contract. Feel free to print these out for easy access.

 

COMPLETE AND SIGN PARTICIPANT CONTRACT (ONE FOR EACH STUDENT PARTICIPATING)
Each participant and their parent needs to complete and sign the Participant Contract to audition for and participate in the Variety Show. *Students who do not have this on audition day WILL NOT AUDITION until this is completed.*

 

IMPORTANT: ALL DOCUMENTS MUST BE PRINTED, SIGNED, AND PRESENTED TO THE VARIETY SHOW CHAIRS ON THE AUDITION DATE.

 

GROUPS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO AUDITION IF FORMS ARE MISSING. TO AUDITION, YOU MUST

Is your student interested in being an emcee at this year's Variety Show? The Variety Show Committee is looking for energetic, enthusiastic 5th graders to serve as the show's emcees!

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

  • The emcee position is open to 5th grade Red Hill students ONLY.
  • Emcees will not be able to participate in other acts aside from the 5th-grade finale. Please keep this in mind before auditioning.
  • Those emcees selected must attend all rehearsals for the variety show. We will not be able to work around family schedules.
  • It is mandatory that each emcee has a parent (or another responsible adult) to monitor them at every rehearsal and performance. This adult must remain backstage with the emcee for the entire rehearsal and the entire performance. With so many students involved in our show, the Variety Show committee cannot monitor students.
  • If a 5th grader is not selected for an emcee position, they are encouraged and welcome to audition for another act.
  • For the audition: Students must prepare a 30 second skit, monologue, or introduction of an act. Use your imagination and show your personality!
