Spirit Wear
Join the team running Red Hill's spirit wear program. Committee members help with design input, promoting sales to families, sorting and distributing orders, managing inventory, and staffing spirit wear pop-ups at school events. A fun, hands-on way to get involved and help kids and families rep their Red Hill Rocket pride.

Rocket Rally
Join the team β€” led by Ruth Aptaker, VP of Ways & Means β€” helping launch Red Hill's biggest fundraiser of the year! As our first-ever unified fall campaign, Rocket Rally brings the whole school together around a shared goal. Committee members will help shape this brand-new event by assisting with promotion to families, coordinating sponsorships and community supporters, managing student pledge pages, recruiting volunteers, and bringing the Rocket Rally Walk to life on Walk to School Day. Rocket Rally 2026 runs August 13 – October 7, with the Walk on Thursday, October 7. A high-impact, fun way to help create a new Red Hill tradition.

Advertising & Sponsorship Procurement
Own the strategy and execution of securing sponsors to support Red Hill. Responsibilities include building and growing our annual sponsorship program, recruiting event-specific sponsors, managing outreach and communications with prospective and current sponsors, and partnering with our tech and marketing teams to fulfill sponsor ad placements. A great fit for someone who works full-time but can carve out focused time on a computer to send outreach, build relationships, and grow the program. High-impact role with real flexibility β€” the work happens largely on your own schedule.

Birthdays at Red Hill
Own a fun, feel-good corner of our fundraising: helping Red Hill families turn their child's birthday into a celebration that gives back to the school. This role coordinates three birthday giving options families can choose from throughout the year. Birthday Book Club β€” managing book donations to the school library, including bookplates that name the birthday child Marquee Shoutouts β€” collecting birthday messages and coordinating with the school to get names up on the marquee Rock Garden β€” distributing rocks and supplies for families to paint and add to our campus rock garden

Family Dinners Out / Kona Ice
Arranges restaurant fundraiser nights where a portion of proceeds benefit the PTA. Planning for 3-4 during the year. Coordinates Kona Ice truck fundraiser days at the school. Works with Kona on 2-3 dates, ensure we have trash cans ready + supervise during.

Teacher Auction
Facilitates the Teacher Auction, a popular fundraiser, scheduled in November, featuring unique experiences and items offered by Red Hill staff. Works with teachers and staff to develop and gather their auction items, partners with the Tech Committee who manages the auction platform, helps communicate with parents about how to bid and participate, and coordinates winner follow-up and item fulfillment. A fun role for someone who enjoys working closely with staff and building excitement around one of the school's most-loved fundraisers.

Our biggest grown-ups night of the year, the Gala brings the Red Hill community together for an evening of fun, connection, and fundraising for our school. Help bring our brand-new STEM Lab to life! Starting this year, every class at Red Hill will visit the STEM Lab once a month for hands-on science exploration, run in partnership with All Things Science. Committee members serve as the liaison between All Things Science, our school, and the Red Hill community β€” coordinating logistics, supporting weekly Wednesday sessions, communicating with families, and helping make sure every student gets the most out of the experience. Leads BLAST, the Son and Loved Ones event β€” a fun night out for our Red Hill boys and their loved ones. Held at Irvine Lanes the last two years, though the chair is welcome to bring fresh ideas for the venue and format. Responsibilities include booking the venue, coordinating activities and any vendors, managing ticket sales, recruiting volunteers, and promoting the event to families. SDC Liaison
Serve as the dedicated representative for our SDC families within the PTA.
